Unfortunately in my case, every time I try to run PhotoMerge Panorama, PSE6 crashes.Products: Adobe User Manager, LiveCycle Form Manager 7.2.2, LiveCycle Forms 7.2.2, LiveCycle Workflow 7.2.2, LiveCycle PDF Generator 7.2.2, LiveCycle Print 7.2.2 No prompts to "Please insert the disk: 1"! And it finished successfully. Having tried the above method 6 times unsuccessfully, I figured "why not?"

I went to Adobe's Support knowledgebase and in the Troubleshooter, they suggest you copy the Photoshop Elements folder from the CD to your Windows Desktop. Yes … I know there are better products (such as Colorvision Spyder 2 Suite for non-pro types like moi) out there … but I wanted to start the process with Adobe Gamma. But what about a reinstall on one of these same computers? Am I out of luck here?Īs a last resort … is Adobe Gamma available as a separate add-on? I’m aware that a single user is only allowed two installs of PE Elements 5.0.

The only way out was to press the Cancel button that led to existing the install program.

I pressed the OK button and the message reappeared. Shortly after the reinstall started … I got a separate screen requesting that I “Please insert the disk: 1.” But the Elements 5.0 program CD was already in the CD drive. I tried to reinstall PS Elements 5.0 to do a repair to recover Adobe Gamma. On rebooting … however … Adobe Gamma had disappeared from the Control Panel. Soon after I uninstalled Elements 3.0 from the (a) desktop computer since I wanted to use the latest version of Adobe Gamma for calibrating the monitor.

I checked the Control Panel on each computer and Adobe Gamma was there. I just installed Adobe PhotoShop Elements 5.0 on both my (a) desktop and (b) laptop computers.īoth computers also had an existing installation of PS Elements 3.0 (so I now had both versions of Elements).
